“Bomb Threat Prompts Closure of Paris Metro Station and Evacuation of Shopping Center Amidst Heightened Security”

Part of the Sen-Lazar underground station in the center of Paris has been temporarily closed following a bomb threat, with visitors to the adjacent shopping center being asked to evacuate the premises. This information was reported by BFMTV, citing reliable sources.

Simultaneously, France’s national railway company, SNCF, has announced the suspension of train services on multiple branches in the urban network through its social media channels. The reason for this announcement is attributed to a forgotten package, and security personnel are present on the scene with a section of the station closed off.

Furthermore, SNCF has stated that the St. Lazare station will not be bypassed and has not provided an explanation for the evacuation. Stranded passengers have been able to safely return to the station.

“After thorough investigations conducted by security groups, nothing suspicious has been found. The station’s entrance has now been reopened,” states the announcement from the company, which was published on its social media pages.
