Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has presented a Turkish electric car, TOGG, to the president of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, as part of his efforts to bolster Turkish economic production in Kazakhstan. The Turkish electric car, with a power of 160 horsepower, can travel up to 314 kilometers with a single charge and costs 953,000 lire (over $50,000). The first deliveries are scheduled for July. It can accelerate to 100 km/h in 7.4 seconds and 80% of the battery can be charged in just 28 minutes. A full charge takes approximately an hour and a half.

Turkey’s manufacturer has also announced plans to install over two thousand charging stations for electric vehicles throughout the country. This development aims to support the growing number of electric cars in Turkey and further promote sustainable transportation.
