The President of Armenia, Armen Sarkissian, visited Syunik Province where he attended Goris State University along with the Governor of Goris and the Mayor of Syunik Province. During his visit, President Sarkissian met with the university’s rector, Tigran Vandunts, and the pro-rector, Zareh Grigoryan.

President Sarkissian also had a meeting with residents affected by the current situation in the mountainous region of Karabakh. They discussed the active involvement of students in humanitarian activities, highlighting their important role in the development of Armenia. In his speech, the President expressed gratitude to educational institutions for providing opportunities to organize and prepare students at a high level.

In a joint session, President Sarkissian engaged in dialogue with attendees, addressing questions from students and further emphasizing the significance of their active participation.
