“FINTECH360 Conference in Yerevan Unveils Cutting-Edge Trends in Digital Transformation, Features Industry Experts and Global Collaboration”
In late October, the international FINTECH360 conference took place in Yerevan, bringing together experts from various countries to discuss the latest trends in digital transformation and share best practices. The conference was organized with the support of Unibank, Kwikpay payment system, and NABIX company, and was hosted at the Holiday Inn Yerevan Republic Square hotel.
During the conference, notable attendees included Arman Nurbekyan, the head of the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia, Nerses Yeritsyan, the director of the “Operation of Information Systems of the Financial System of Armenia” Foundation, and Gagik Zakaryan, the head of the Department of Unibank.
The discussions at FINTECH360 focused on a range of topics, including the role of artificial intelligence in product development, customer profiling, digital interfaces for banking products, mobile applications, brokerage services, and the development of Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) services.
One highlight of the conference was the presentation by Shalva Meladze, the CEO of Kwikpay, who showcased the improvements in payment system services and the capabilities of the Kwikpay mobile application as an all-in-one online platform.
A panel discussion on “ESG and Sustainable Financing,” moderated by Konstantin Saroyan, the president of the Federation of Euro-Asian Stock Exchanges (FEAS), featured Arman Gabrielyan, the executive director of Unibank. The discussion explored the potential of ESG transition, highlighting the significance of environmental, social, and governance factors in regulated development.
The event attracted over 200 participants from banks, payment systems, fintech companies, startups, experts in artificial intelligence and machine learning, as well as representatives from the food and hospitality industry. The success of FINTECH360 was further supported by local programs such as Accelerate Armenia and the national certifying program for food and beverages.
