Employees of the overnight Department of the Emergency Situations Ministry made a shocking discovery on November 1st at 00:30. During a routine inspection, they found a fire extinguisher containing 6 kg of Zil-131 mark without a registration mark on the grounds of the “Hrazdan” forest park fire department. The ministry promptly provided this operational information.

The driver responsible for transporting the fire extinguisher experienced health issues due to exposure to toxic substances. Consequently, he was immediately transferred to the Hrazdan department for medical assistance. Subsequently, the driver informed authorities that he had inhaled exhaust fumes from the park’s territory, leading to his condition.

This hazardous situation escalated further as the “Zil-131” fire extinguisher, which was loaded with wood, was destroyed at the scene of the incident. Now, the driver and all relevant documents have been presented to the Kotayk regional administration for further investigation and necessary actions.
