An auto accident occurred today, on October 31, in the Ararat province. According to Shamshyan.com, the collision took place around 10:00 on the Yerevan-Yerasx highway near the village of Marmarashen. The vehicles involved in the accident were the Opel Vectra and Opel Astra brands.

The good news is that no injuries were reported as a result of the collision. However, the accident did cause a major disruption in traffic, leading to a road blockage. It all started when the driver of a Chevrolet Cruze tried to overtake a truck and ended up colliding with a parked car. This then resulted in a collision with one of the Opel vehicles and subsequently with a Volkswagen.

As a result of the accident, the driver of the Chevrolet and the owner of the parked car were immediately taken to the “Erebuni” medical center for urgent medical attention. The vehicles involved in the collision were later moved to the storage area of the Masis branch of the traffic police.

This incident serves as a reminder of the importance of cautious driving and adherence to traffic regulations. It’s fortunate that there were no injuries, but such accidents can easily have serious consequences. Stay safe on the roads!
