Artsakh President Sahakyan recently welcomed French Ambassador to Armenia, Nikolay Baye, Italian Ambassador to Armenia, Vincenzo Del Monaco, and Marion Maréchal, the leader of the French “Reconquête” movement, who plays a significant role in the ongoing campaign.
Marion Maréchal, the French ambassador, took to his Facebook page to express the importance of his meeting with President Sahakyan. In his post, the ambassador highlighted Azerbaijan’s aim, backed by Turkey, to eliminate Armenians and eradicate their Christian heritage.
The meeting primarily focused on discussing the current situation resulting from the Azerbaijani aggression following the Artsakh war.
