Government Approves Housing Assistance Program for Displaced Families and Residents of Armenia
The government has approved a housing assistance program for displaced families from Artsakh and residents of separate regions of the Republic of Armenia. The program, presented by Narek Mkrtchyan, the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, has three components. One component offers an apartment or alternative residence to a household member living in an uninhabitable house. The second component provides a certificate for the construction of alternative housing. The program will be funded by partner banks, with the government covering interest and fees. The regulations for the program will be adopted by June 15.
