China’s Minister of External Affairs to Strengthen Ties with Thailand in Upcoming Visit
China’s Minister of External Affairs, Wang Yin, is scheduled to visit Thailand from January 26-29, as reported by Reuters, citing the Thai Department of External Affairs. This visit comes just a few days after the recent meeting of the leaders of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and the ministers of external affairs.
During his visit, Wang Yin, along with his counterpart, Don Pramathwinan, will engage in discussions regarding collaboration in various areas such as trade, investment, security, culture, and tourism, according to the official announcement. The Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs highlighted that the two parties will also exchange views on regional and international issues that are of mutual concern.
