On December 4, a major car accident took place in the Ararat region. At approximately 18:20, two vehicles were involved in a collision on the Mkhchyan-Ditak road. The first vehicle was a VAZ 2109 car driven by Gabriel V., a 43-year-old individual. The second vehicle was a “Belarus 82” model driven by Ghevond K., a 48-year-old individual. The registration number of the second vehicle was 1605AX. According to Shamshyan.com, three passengers sustained injuries in the collision. Mohid Umar, a 21-year-old from India, Dinesh Gumanaram, a 19-year-old, and Trilog Modilar, a 32-year-old, were all injured and subsequently transferred to the “Artashat” Medical Center for treatment. Another passenger, also an Indian citizen, was transferred to the “Erebuni” Medical Center. In addition to the injured passengers, the tractor involved in the accident suffered damage. The collision with the VAZ caused the tractor to overturn, resulting in the road being covered in dirt.
