On December 5, a major fire broke out in Yerevan at the “Dragon Garden family” restaurant located at 7/3 Avovyan Street, according to Shamshyan.com. The National Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia received an alarm about the fire at around 04:25. The fire spread throughout the restaurant’s complex, prompting the response of the 1st fire brigade station of Yerevan and the 8th rescue brigade station. Fortunately, the firefighters were able to contain the fire with no reported casualties or injuries.

Emergency services from the 1-03 Emergency Services of Yerevan, “Gazprom Armenia” CJSC, and “Electric Networks of Armenia” also arrived at the scene to assist with the situation. Their swift response aided in extinguishing the fire by 04:55, and it was completely stopped by 05:10.

As is customary in such cases, an investigation into the cause of the fire is currently underway, and official documents are being prepared to provide clarity on the incident. By determining the cause, authorities will be able to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
