Additionally, the number of recipients of free medication has increased by 514, and 513 individuals have received referrals for medical certification for state-funded treatment. As part of the effort to integrate the displaced individuals, a working group from the Yerevan City Hall has employed 9 individuals from Artsakh, including 2 doctors, 6 nurses, and 1 other staff member.

Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan acknowledged the need for increased involvement from the Yerevan City Hall in the integration process. He emphasized that social assistance programs alone are not sufficient, highlighting the importance of communication and its impact on people’s mental well-being. Mayor Marutyan expressed the city’s commitment to implementing programs aimed at integrating the displaced population and encouraged discussions with partners to develop potential initiatives. Recognizing the challenges faced by the displaced population of Artsakh, the Yerevan City Hall is determined to take action and support their integration.
