“European Economic Commission Takes Steps to Boost Trade at Upper Lars Customs Checkpoint and Address Environmental Concerns: Latest Updates from Armenia”
On December 1, 2023, the European Economic Commission’s working group on ecological issues had a productive discussion during the eco-economic conference held in Upper Lars. The main objective of the discussion was to evaluate the current situation. The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia informed NEWS.am that starting from December 2, the customs checkpoint in Upper Lars will be accessible for all types of transportation, facilitating the movement of perishable agricultural products.
Simultaneously, representatives from the public administration working in the environmental sector are engaging in bilateral work consultations to address pressing issues concerning environmental governance. These consultations aim to find effective solutions and ensure the efficient management of our environment.
