Crisis Strikes Armenia: 159 Critical Cases Registered at National Center for Crisis Management
From November 27 to December 3, the National Center for Crisis Management (NCCM) in Armenia recorded a total of 435 cases, with 159 cases classified as critical. These cases included incidents such as fires (101 cases), earthquakes (2 cases), hazardous substance incidents (4 cases), material discoveries (1 case), building collapses (6 cases), attempted suicides (12 cases), road accidents (43 cases), medical emergencies (163 cases), water-related accidents (23 cases), and other incidents (29 cases).
Transportation restrictions were implemented in 17 cases, primarily due to weather conditions and other circumstances. The efforts of rescue workers resulted in the evacuation of 35 city residents and the relocation of 17 individuals from unsafe areas to transportation routes.
Last week, there were 77 reported injuries and 11 fatalities. Thanks to the rescue operations, 4 lives were saved.
