During a meeting with President Xi Jinping in Beijing, President Alexander Lukashenko of Belarus announced that Belarus has become, is, and will continue to be a reliable partner for China. Lukashenko expressed his satisfaction in discussing current issues of cooperation and emphasized the importance of expressing their position on international relations and global problems they face. Lukashenko highlighted that the development of comprehensive and mutually beneficial military cooperation between Belarus and China is based on government agreements and ongoing global developments.

Lukashenko further stated that Belarus’ status as a reliable partner for China is undisputed and has been maintained for the past 30 years or perhaps even longer. This visit marked Lukashenko’s first visit to China as a member of the delegation, emphasizing the significance of the occasion.

President Lukashenko also acknowledged the longstanding friendship between Belarus and China, along with the efforts made to develop bilateral relations during his meeting with President Xi Jinping.
