“Armenian Federation of Trade Unions Offers Vocational Training for Mandatory Evacuees from Artsakh to Address Worker Shortage”
News.am and the Armenian Federation of Trade Unions, represented by Mehak Apresyan, have announced that mandatory evacuees from Artsakh who are interested in working in the construction industry can enroll in vocational training courses. The Armenian Federation of Trade Unions is located at 26a Mose Khorenatsi Street in Yerevan. Apresyan noted that there is a significant shortage of workers, particularly in the hotel and tourism sectors, as well as other industries. While these individuals may lack experience, they possess the necessary knowledge and skills, making training courses essential. The Armenian Federation of Trade Unions has organized similar courses for displaced individuals from Artsakh, providing them with fundamental knowledge. Now, the focus is on helping them find employment and apply their skills. Job fairs are being organized in regions where the Federation of Trade Unions’ organizations operate,” explained the president of the Trade Union.
Apresyan believes in the preservation and promotion of all aspects related to Artsakh, including its touristic brand and historical and cultural heritage. The expert has also highlighted the importance of creating a comprehensive database with high-quality information on all cultural monuments in Artsakh.
