“Nikol Pashinyan Affirms Commitment to Russian-Armenian Strategic Partnership at CPP Meeting”
The “Hraparak” newspaper reports that a meeting was held in Yerevan’s CPP central office, with Nikol Pashinyan in attendance, to discuss “the current issues of the party’s activities and political dialogue.” Based on our CPP sources, the discussion centered around “violence and instability.” Pashinyan took the opportunity to address the team members for several hours, emphasizing his consideration for everyone’s opinion and its importance to him. He reiterated the party’s commitment to the principles of the Russian-Armenian strategic partnership, underlining the need to maintain the same level of cooperation until the problem is resolved, as Armenia relies on Russia for economic and security matters. However, the article did not mention the meeting in Petersbourg or the discussions between the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan at the Ijevan and Kazakh borders regarding the Armenian-Azerbaijani border delimitation, demarcation, and regional security.
