The Israeli military (IDF) has reported a surge in rocket attacks during the night, with over 400 rockets launched, many of which struck the southern region of Khan Yunis. This comes as a significant blow to the area, where twenty housing units have already been destroyed in the past month alone.

In an official statement by the Israeli Defense Ministry, it was revealed that the night operation was a “broad assault” on the region, targeting more than 50 specific locations. The military utilized precision weapons supplied by the United States to effectively neutralize Hamas positions.

In response to the escalating military operations in Khan Yunis, Israel has declared a state of emergency and urged the population to evacuate the area. The situation is rapidly intensifying, and civilians are being advised to seek safety closer to the border with Egypt.
