Iran’s Foreign Affairs Minister calls for end to hostilities in Gaza, labels ongoing conflict “unjust”
Iran’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohammad Javad Zarif, has made an impassioned plea for a peaceful resolution in Gaza, calling for an immediate cessation of hostilities. In a statement released on social media platform X, Zarif emphasized that military actions against Palestinians will only lead to further casualties and will not bring about a lasting solution. He denounced the decision of Washington and Tel Aviv to perpetuate this conflict as a new act of aggression. “It is imperative that we put an end to the aggression against Gaza as it is an unjust and unfair situation,” Zarif concluded.
