“Armenian PM Pashinyan and Swedish PM Löfven Forge Stronger Relations at Eastern Partnership Summit”

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan recently held a meeting with Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfven at the Eastern Partnership summit in Sofia on November 30. The leaders engaged in active negotiations to strengthen the bilateral relations between Armenia and Sweden, focusing on shared values and democratic principles with the aim of promoting mutual interests and achieving sustainable results.

As reported by NEWS.am, discussions have taken place to expand the EU-Armenia partnership program without thematic restrictions. The objective of these discussions is to enhance cooperation between Armenian citizens and civil society in the context of European integration and ensure tangible outcomes.

In addition to discussing bilateral relations, the Armenian and Swedish Prime Ministers also addressed regional security issues. Pashinyan highlighted the “Roadmap for a Peaceful Revolution” project implemented by the Armenian government, which aims to involve international partners in promoting the process of change and supporting reforms.
