“Municipal School Controversy: Ideological Clash Erupts as Online Platform Opens Up Education to Global Audience”
The issue of opening municipal schools was recently discussed during a meeting of the Civic Contract Party, as reported by “Fact” newspaper. Nikol Pashinyan, in his statement, expressed the party’s stance against everything and emphasized the ongoing preparatory work for educational activities related to municipal schools. A significant development in this regard is the introduction of an online platform for the school, allowing participation from both Armenia and other countries in educational programs.
According to available information, teachers from municipal schools have been given the opportunity to attend lecture courses in order to familiarize themselves with the educational system and structure. Additionally, representatives of the rural population, who are supportive of the government, have played a role in implementing key courses in Armenia. These regions have to some extent dominated online platforms and social networks, shaping the discourse on the topic.
Importantly, we have learned that there is currently an intense ideological struggle taking place within municipal schools. Representatives from various ideologies not only present their perspectives but also engage in conflicts with one another.
