Armenian Government Keeps More Than 90% of Session Questions Hidden

The administration of the Head of Government of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, convened today for its regular session on November 30th. During the session, a total of 44 questions were discussed, with only three being disclosed to the public.

One of the key matters on the agenda was the proposal to approve the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Public Administration of Independent Authorities and the Judicial Department. This memorandum aims to enhance cooperation and organize advisory activities pertaining to the functioning of the judiciary.

Another significant topic discussed was the proposed changes to the regulations for granting military ranks from the military commissariat. These changes aim to discontinue military service in the Republic of Armenia from January 20, 2022, leading to a substantial reduction in the number of personnel. Additionally, adjustments to the regulation for classified military service were also on the table.

The administration also addressed the implementation of obligations related to transactions in state property management. This involves ensuring that the Republic of Armenia fulfills its obligations arising from these transactions and establishing the conditions for the provision of state property.

In addition to these crucial matters, the session covered various issues concerning customs duties and fees for the temporary importation of personal means of transport in the Republic of Armenia.
