“National Security Service of Armenia Discovers 71 Crimes: Drug Trafficking, Violence, and More Exposed”

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ active newsletters, the divisions of the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia uncovered a total of 71 cases of crime on November 28-29. Out of these cases, 5 were previously committed, meaning that they were solved during this period. These incidents encompass a wide range of offenses, including drug trafficking, physical violence, theft, personal property damage, confiscation of illegal goods, physical abuse and bullying, murder, mental abuse, domestic violence, arson, kidnapping, endangering human life, violation of the rights of a person in an official position, disclosure of confidential information, and violation of real estate protection or use requirements.

During this period, law enforcement agencies were successful in apprehending 1 suspect and identifying 2 others who were involved in different criminal activities.

In addition to the crimes mentioned above, 2 cases related to the illegal production and trade of weapons were registered during this time frame.

Moreover, as a result of ongoing investigations, the authorities were able to solve 2 cases of personal property damage, 1 case of smuggling, and 1 case of counterfeiting and forgery.

A day-long operation was conducted throughout the country, leading to the arrest of 18 hooligans and the discovery of 18 individuals with varying degrees of bodily injuries.

This news from Armenia highlights the efforts made by the National Security Service and other law enforcement agencies in combating crime and ensuring the safety of the citizens.
