Former Governor of Mountainous Karabakh Security Council Denies Blaming Authorities for Loss of Artsakh in 44-Day War
A former governor and minister of defense of Mountainous Karabakh Security Council, Samvel Babayan, spoke with journalists on November 29 regarding the possibility of ending the 44-day war between Artsakh and Azerbaijan. When asked about who started the war, Babayan stated that everyone is to blame, including the authorities and Nikol Pashinyan. However, he does not hold the government of the Republic of Armenia responsible for losing Artsakh. Babayan also mentioned that he has not been questioned by the judiciary of Artsakh and encouraged anyone to contact Gurgen Nersisyan for verification.
