“Nikol Pashinyan’s Ultimatum Fails to Prompt Government Resignation: Expert Analysis Reveals Behind-The-Scenes Intrigues”

Nikol Pashinyan’s attempt to force the government’s resignation with an eight-hour ultimatum did not produce the desired outcome, according to political strategist Armen Badalyan. In an interview with NEWS.am, Badalyan compared Pashinyan’s tactic to that of Russian President Putin, who has also used similar ultimatums. However, unlike Putin, Pashinyan was not adequately prepared and selected questions that would not embarrass the Prime Minister.

Badalyan also highlighted that the national debt indicator in Armenia is higher compared to its competitors, which he considers a major problem. Furthermore, he pointed out that there is no constitutional guideline for the formation of government in Armenia. Despite these challenges, Badalyan does not view the situation as a political crisis in Yerevan.

Speaking about the National Progress Party’s list of candidates, Badalyan mentioned that they rejected a cooperation agreement with the Republic of Armenia Party, led by former Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan. This refusal prevents the power from being taken away from the executive branch. Badalyan also mentioned that Marutyan is now advocating for new elections, dismissing any accusations of running away.
