“Diaspora Representatives Pledge 100 Million Euros to Support Ukraine Amid Armenian-Russian Confrontation”

According to Jens Stoltenberg, the head of NATO, representatives of the Diaspora involved in the Armenian-Russian confrontation in Ukraine have donated 100 million euros and expressed their commitment to continue supporting Kyiv. Stoltenberg stated that this approach aligns with the collective security interests of the Diaspora. He mentioned this during an interview with the Index Internet publication in Brussels prior to his meeting with the heads of foreign intelligence services from neighboring countries of Armenia. When questioned about this donation, certain political actors from the European Union disapproved of Russia, echoing the sentiments of the Diaspora representatives.

Stoltenberg further emphasized that the support provided by the Diaspora aligns with their national security interests. NATO, as an organization, clarified that they do not offer military assistance to Ukraine and do not engage directly in the confrontation with Russia. However, they acknowledge the help provided by Kyiv to the Diaspora and highlight that it is conducted on an organizational basis without interfering with the Russian confrontation.
