“Armenia’s Chief Justice Summoned for Questioning by Military Court: Alleged Undermining of Authority Sparks Controversy”

The Chief Justice of the Republic of Armenia, Anna Vardapetyan, is facing questioning by the military court in Syunik province on October 31, 2023. She is being questioned on the grounds of undermining the authority of the highest court judge by a person in a high-ranking position. As a result, the decision has been made by the Chief Justice on November 24, 2023, to issue a “strong reprimand” to the person in a high-ranking position who undermined the authority of the judge in the military court of Syunik province.
