Armenia has reaffirmed its commitment to the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) and is not expected to withdraw from it, according to Secretary General Imants Tašmagkambe. Despite not participating in the summit of Minsk, the head of the CSTO believes there is no need for Armenia to take any drastic actions to withdraw from the defense order. He dismissed speculations and emphasized that Armenia’s absence from the order is due to technical problems and is an internal decision of the country that cannot be influenced by any other entity. The CSTO respects Armenia’s decision as a member of the organization.
