“Armenian Officials Attend International Tax Conference in Paris, Strive for Technological Advancements and Cooperation”
The Director of the State Revenue Committee, Arsen Mnatsakanyan, and the Head of the Legal Department of the Revenue Service, Gohar Mkrtchyan, recently attended the annual conference of the International Association of Tax Court Judges in Paris. They were representing the Court President, Mark Shmishchik. The conference covered a range of topics, including the implementation of numerical technologies in tax administration and the importance of cooperation between tax administration and the media. During the visit, Mnatsakanyan also met with the President of the Court of Cassation and other representatives of various organizations.
Mnatsakanyan has been a member of the Association since 2015. The Association aims to improve tax administration practices globally, facilitating international cooperation and sharing best practices. It focuses on both public and private structures and addresses current challenges in tax administration.
