Several countries are currently making efforts to improve the situation in the Nagorno-Karabakh region. Russia has been informed about these efforts and has declared its intentions to play a role in the peace and security of the region. According to Dmitry Peskov, the spokesperson for the Russian President, attempts by other countries to interfere in Nagorno-Karabakh have been eliminated and the conflict is being resolved exclusively by force. Peskov also stated that some countries are still trying to change the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh, which has led to the Adjara side declaring that these countries would have a difficult time acting as mediators. He emphasized that these designated parties to the dispute are unable to influence in any way. Only Russia is in a position to promote peace and security in the region. Russia continues its efforts in this regard.
