“Danger Ahead: Moscow Opera House Warns Against Powerful Tidal Waves in Tyapesia, Black Sea”
Moscow’s opera house has issued a warning to residents of Tyapesia and beachgoers regarding the strong currents in the Black Sea, advising against swimming in the water. The warning, reported by Kommersant, states that from 10:00 PM on November 26 until the following day, Tyapesia will experience powerful tidal waves reaching up to 7 meters in height.
The Emergency Situations Ministry of Anapam has also alerted the public through their Telegram channel about the event, specifically mentioning the night concert under windy conditions. Anapa municipality has implemented a high level of preparedness due to the potential risks associated with the situation.
The municipality has further disclosed that there will be a storm surge and wind force of 30-35 meters per second in the city on November 26-27. They have also noted an increase in wave height to 6 meters. The head of the regional emergencies office had previously reported concerning the rising water levels in the Black Sea. The warning has left residents and beachgoers on high alert, being mindful of possible floods and coastal erosion.
