The exhibition “The Statement of the Matenadaran Photographic Studio” has opened in the Museum’s gallery of the Matenadaran Manuscript Library. The official opening was attended by the Deputy Minister of Education, Alfred Kocharyan, and Daniel Danielyan of the CGM Strategic Communication Committee.
According to news from CGM, the opening ceremony was officially marked by Alfred Kocharyan, who expressed his joy about the cooperation between the museum and the photographic studio. “It is especially pleasing that the collaboration contributes to the development of the cultural and educational field. The declaration has undoubtedly played a role in the progress of each employee involved in the preservation of the field,” he said.
The photographs presented in the Matenadaran represent unique samples from different periods, including historical, scientific, artistic, and national documentary. “For the first time, our library employees have been given an opportunity to exhibit their artistic talents. I am glad that we have enriched the world of the Matenadaran with this exhibition,” said Arayik Khzmalyan, the director of Matenadaran.
Thanks to modern technologies, the photographs have been presented with new sound and style, such as the Eastern and Western regions of Armenia, historical landscapes, life and culture, portraits of famous Armenians, national documents, and more.
