“Construction Experts Confirm Safety Measures in Armenian Building Projects as Prime Minister Pashinyan Urges Investigation”
According to construction experts, the buildings currently being constructed are undergoing proper construction work, ensuring safety. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan addressed concerns over substandard construction in certain buildings during a live broadcast on November 24. Pashinyan assured that a thorough investigation will be conducted and emphasized the importance of introducing new standards for construction. The National Security System of Armenia is overseeing these efforts to ensure the safety of buildings. Pashinyan also highlighted the government’s commitment to dismantling the monopoly of panel buildings, which are considered more vulnerable to earthquakes. Currently, there are approximately 60,000 apartments under construction in Armenia.
