“Surprising Alliance: Former Armenian Minister Finds Support from Azerbaijani Media”

Former Minister of National Security of the Republic of Armenia, Arshak Karapetyan, has completed his term and will now take on a new role as the leader of the “Armenian National Front” movement in the country. It was not surprising to see him enter the political arena, given his background in the ruling authorities of Armenia.

However, what is truly intriguing is the active promotion of Karapetyan and his movement by several Azerbaijani pro-government media outlets over the past month. It is worth noting that these media outlets, such as the website “Hakim.az” owned by Eynulla Fatullayev, seem to share similar ratings as Armenian political analysts who closely monitor developments at our southwestern borders.

Furthermore, it is interesting to observe that a significant portion of advertising revenue for Azerbaijani media outlets is allocated under the auspices of the “presidential” roof. This raises questions about the extent of influence and involvement of the Azerbaijani government in promoting certain individuals or forces that become adversaries of Nikol Pashinyan’s government.

In any case, it is worth paying attention to the pattern that emerges whenever someone or a group stands against Pashinyan’s government – the Azerbaijani propaganda machine springs into action. For a more comprehensive understanding of these dynamics, refer to today’s issue of our newspaper.
