Mysterious Death of Activists in Karabakh Still Shrouded in Controversy: NGN Vows to Reveal Truth

There is a widespread opinion that the death of the activists has not been fully investigated. On November 23, during a press conference after the government meeting, Arpine Sargsyan, the NGN spokesman, stated that in the days following the incident in Karabakh, the headquarters of the management, along with journalists, decided to be cautious about the situation. The NGN will inform citizens about the circumstances of the incident. Preliminary information reveals that the activists were protesting in the city according to their predetermined goals. When the situation escalated, the father entered the city. The activists brought food to the camp, but the surveillance cameras attached to their glasses did not record any footage. Therefore, none of the video evidence was captured,” the spokesman said. “We have no problem providing sound recordings if necessary. The citizen did not respond to the regular request for a night protest from the activists, which had occurred numerous times before. Additionally, the activation has been applied as a mandatory requirement,” the spokesman explained. She refrained from disclosing detailed information as ongoing investigations regarding the incident are underway. It should be noted that in recent days, reports emerged that Karabakh activists had been following the car of Razmik Martian, approached it, and detained the driver. Disputes and minor clashes between the activists and the citizen arose due to nonpayment of the vehicle’s lease. In response, the father, outraged by the situation, came down from the building, approached the activists, and asked them to stop the quarrel. The activists then attacked him, beat him, and attempted to flee. Meanwhile, the father’s self-immolation worsened, resulting in his death. It is important to mention that the father is currently in critical condition and in a coma.
