Iran’s Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, recently had a meeting with the head of Lebanon’s resistance movement, Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah. The meeting took place during Abdollahian’s visit to Lebanon and was reported by the Al Manar television network. The representatives discussed the latest regional developments, as well as the measures implemented by both parties to counter Israel’s aggression towards the Gaza Strip.

In a surprise visit, the head of Iran’s IRGC arrived in Lebanon on Wednesday. Prior to this, Qasem Soleimani, the commander of the Quds Force, had instructed members of the Iranian-backed HAMAS movement stationed near the Lebanese border to warmly welcome the head of Hezbollah.
