“Prime Minister’s Concert Interrupted by Scuffle: Government Members Exchange Water Attacks”
Dear Prime Minister,
I apologize for not responding to this institution earlier, but I want to emphasize that no one will be exempt from inspections. Corruption in this institution or anywhere else should always receive a corresponding response.
During the New Year’s concert, Ani Khachatryan, a member of the “Republic” faction of the Yerevan City Council, made a statement, saying, “No matter what they do, they will face consequences. I also want to address the directors of the 12 administrative districts: be prepared for my visit.”
Tigran Avinyan approached Khachatryan and expressed his stance on corruption, stating, “As a responsible person, I will not tolerate any form of corruption. I believe in resolving issues through peaceful dialogue, and I hope we can address our concerns without resorting to violence.”
Son aghkyan threw water at Khachatryan, leading to a scuffle between them. Khachatryan retaliated by grabbing Son aghkyan’s hair.
The live broadcast and the concert were interrupted by Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan. He requested an immediate halt to the concert and announced that it would continue the next day.
Today, Avinyan criticized the three women involved in yesterday’s incident: Son aghkyan, Narine Hayrapetyan, and Ani Khachatryan. He also mentioned that the directors of the Yerevan administrative districts did not receive any positive news yesterday.
“Ladies and gentlemen, please maintain decorum,” Avinyan urged. Unfortunately, female members of the government splashed water on each other, resulting in a scuffle.
