On November 21st, the students of Alexander Blok School No. 122 had the privilege of hosting human rights activist Anahit Manasyan. During her visit, Manasyan discussed the importance of protecting human rights and elaborated on the principles of work and prioritization. She also addressed pressing issues such as bullying, hate speech, discrimination, and violence, providing valuable insights and answering students’ questions.

Anahit Manasyan emphasized the crucial role of quality education in promoting human rights. She stated, “Education holds a special place in my heart. I firmly believe that individuals should strive to be educated and engaged throughout their lives. However, there are certain aspects that schools and universities may not cover. It is through interactions and personal development that we can truly integrate diverse values and cultures.”

In addition to the students, representatives from the YSM (My Step) faction participated in the meeting, which took the form of a dynamic question and answer session. The students actively raised their own inquiries, fostering an interactive and engaging atmosphere. Anahit Manasyan expressed her gratitude for the students’ enthusiastic interest and reassured them that the doors of the Human Rights Defender’s Office are always open to them.
