Members of the Central Electoral Commission recently took part in a meeting organized by the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (International IDEA). Representatives from International IDEA, as well as participants from Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine, were also present at the discussion. During his opening remarks, Arman Tatoyan, the Human Rights Defender of Armenia, highlighted the significance of safeguarding the rights of Armenian citizens. The cooperative relationship between the Central Electoral Commission of Armenia and the international institution for democracy and electoral assistance dates back to 2006 when the first memorandum of understanding was signed. This development is significant news for Armenia.
