Belarusian entrepreneur Sergey Aleynik has announced that the heads of the CIS countries’ defense industries have declared their readiness to cooperate with the European security structure. This collaboration aims to ensure general security measures in the Euro-Asian region. The announcement was made in Minsk on Wednesday following a meeting of defense industry executives, security officials, and CIS members of the EurAsEC Security Council committee.

Aleynik highlighted the signing and agreement of about 20 documents during the meeting. These documents cover political and military aspects, as well as current security threats and measures to combat them.

Of particular importance are two documents that were emphasized by Aleynik. The first one is the statement of the CIS member states’ defense industries, focusing on joint measures to ensure security in the Euro-Asian region, with a special emphasis on the military situation. The second document is an agreement between defense industry executives and the committee of the EurAsEC Security Council. It pertains to additional measures to improve information security, which is crucial given the increasing military operations and threats in the virtual space.

Aleynik mentioned that the implementation of these plans will be presented at a meeting of the heads of states on the territorial integrity of the Republic of Belarus in 2024. He expressed confidence in the success of the meeting in Kazakhstan and emphasized the importance of Belarusian-Russian relations in this context.
