Rescue services in the Republic of Armenia have issued a warning about the difficult road conditions in the country. Due to heavy snowfall, certain roads, particularly those that require trucks with chains, have been closed off. The Gorayk-“Zangers” highway and the section known as “Megrusar” have also been affected by snow spills. In addition to this, dense fog patches have been reported on several highways including Goris-Sisian, Sisian-“Zangers”, Lanchik-Mastara, Tzilkar-Rya Taza, and in the Aragatsotn region and the section called “Megrusar”.

Moreover, the Stepanakert-Larse highway has been completely shut down for all types of transportation as per the latest information from the RA NSS CIS Department and the CSTO Southern Ossetia Joint Control Center.
