A meeting was held between representatives of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Consulate and various officials from the Ministry of Territorial Administration, Transport, Communication and Urban Development of the Republic of Armenia, including the CEO of the Automobile Federation of Iran, Mohamad Hossain Safi. The purpose of the meeting was to strengthen the friendly relations between the two countries and deepen cooperation. The participants discussed the simplification of entry and exit procedures through the exchange of international documents.

Transportation was a key topic during the meeting, with the representatives focusing on the priorities of the Armenian government in territorial administration. They also highlighted the military significance of the Armenia-Iran intergovernmental transit program, which is a part of the Eurasian transportation corridor.

Aside from transportation, other important issues were also addressed during the meeting. The representatives expressed gratitude to the visitors and emphasized the importance of strengthening relations between Armenia and Iran.
