“The most difficult thing is to protect the FAITH, to remain faithful to JUSTICE, and to retain the UNITY. There can never be joy if there is no justice, and there can never be joy if the truth is distorted,” says Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, the spiritual leader of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Tavush, in his sermon.
“Joy is not dependent on anything external, neither distant nor tangible. We ourselves are the creators of this joy, the creators of our own lives. The question is, how do we see the attainment of this joy? Does it contain the values of truth and justice?” asks the archbishop.
We cannot be swayed by any material or non-material concerns, indulging or denying in various matters.
Ultimately, we are left with one thing, the most difficult thing, to protect justice, to stay true to truth, and to enjoy the joy,” says the Archbishop.
