Yesterday, tragedy struck in Aragatsotn province when a 38-year-old resident of Yerevan, Hovhannes T., lost control of his Volvo vehicle. The car, which was carrying construction materials from Aparyan-Kuchak, veered off the road and crashed into a fence before ending up in a ditch. The incident, documented by Shamshyan.com, occurred around 10:00.

Upon learning of the accident, the emergency team from the “Aparyan” medical center immediately rushed to the scene to assist the driver. However, they arrived too late as he had already been taken to the hospital.

As a result of the collision, the road had to be temporarily closed for safety reasons.

The car was eventually removed from the accident site with the combined effort of local residents, rescuers, firefighters, and the driver’s assistance.

The Aragatsotn regional police department is currently investigating the incident, and the necessary documents are being prepared for the insurance claim.

A sobriety test was conducted on the driver, revealing that he was sober at the time of the accident.
