“Resignations Shake Yerevan City Council: Seats Filled by Next in Line”
The Central Electoral Commission of Yerevan has recently received the resignations of two members of the city council, Tatul Petrosyan and Andranik Tevanyan. Their decision to step down has resulted in the early termination of their powers. These resignations were deliberated during a session that took place on November 20.
Consequently, the mandates of Yerevan city council members Tatul Petrosyan and Andranik Tevanyan have expired before their scheduled end date. The vacant seats have been transferred to the “Mother Armenia” party’s electoral list in accordance with the party’s founding congress’s sequential order. The next candidates in line, Anna Rafik Avetisyan and Arshak Ashoti Sargsyan, will be filling these seats.
