“CEO of EM Company and Minister of MOJ of Armenia Sign Extradition Agreement with EU”

EM Company, headed by CEO Vasilis Maragos, has recently signed an extradition agreement with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia, represented by Minister Paruir Hovhannisyan. The purpose of this agreement is to establish a framework for extradition between Armenia and the European Union. As a result, EM will now have a structured extradition process in Armenia.

The agreement, which was announced by NEWS.am from the EM office in Armenia, comes two years after the implementation of the initial extradition policy on February 20, 2023. This policy involved the collaboration of 103 individuals, including experts and observers from member states of EM.

This development is significant as it ratifies the extradition status between the Republic of Armenia and the European Union. By formalizing the process, it ensures that any extradition requests made between these entities will be properly handled and regulated.
