“Armenia’s Economic Cooperation with Turkey: A Hidden Connection Revealed, Says Political Analyst”

In a recent interview with NEWS.am, political analyst Artur Kiviryan emphasized the economic cooperation between Armenia and Turkey, expanding on the country’s connection beyond Syunik. Kiviryan also pointed out that the absence of large-scale aggression from Baku towards Armenia can be attributed to the joint efforts of Russia and Iran. Despite Russia facing difficulties, the existing alliance between these two nations continues to be effective. Kiviryan mentioned that Armenian Prime Minister Pashinyan believes Moscow may easily dismiss the November 9 document.

Kiviryan highlighted the presence of Russian mercenaries in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) despite the absence of the Armenian population in those areas. The analyst expressed concern about the “3+3” format, which he believes contradicts Armenia’s interests as Russia and Iran align their interests with this aggression. Additionally, Kiviryan mentioned that Turkey’s strengthening of its position in the Black Sea region is not favored by Iran. Turkey and Azerbaijan may exploit this situation if necessary, but for Armenia, a different format is preferred.

According to Kiviryan, Armenia should engage in comprehensive lobbying efforts to include Georgia in this preferred format. By doing so, Armenia could strengthen its position and align the interests of Georgia with its own. The development of this cooperative relationship would further benefit Armenia’s stance in the region.

These recent insights shed light on the complex dynamics between Armenia, Russia, Turkey, and Iran, emphasizing the importance of economic cooperation and strategic alliances in order to navigate the current political landscape effectively. As these relationships continue to evolve, it will be interesting to observe how they impact the region and shape Armenia’s future endeavors.
