“Israel Allows Daily Humanitarian Aid to Enter Gaza Strip, Fuel and Support for UNRWA and Red Cross Included”
Israel has announced that it will allow two truckloads of humanitarian aid to enter the Gaza Strip daily, following the ceasefire with the United States, as reported by the BBC. The US State Department representative shared that for two days, approximately 140,000 liters of fuel will be permitted into Gaza. The primary purpose of this aid is to assist the affected population and support the efforts of UNRWA and the Red Cross. Additionally, some of the aid will be allocated for telecommunications and internet services, which have suffered due to poor infrastructure.
An Israeli company revealed on Friday that its services would be restored through collaboration between the UNRWA and the Palestinian Authority. The company’s representative emphasized that the agreement had been made a few weeks ago, but Israel had delayed its implementation for two reasons. The Israeli authorities have informed the US representative about this decision. It should be noted that the plan has yet to be put into action, and they wish to observe if any security breaches occur before proceeding.
