“Former Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan Won’t Be the Last: Commission to Summon Former Defense Minister in War Investigation”

The commission investigating the consequences of the 44-day war in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) has made a significant decision. Former Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, will not be the last person to be questioned. The commission has decided to summon the former Defense Minister, Vagharshak Harutyunyan, who is accused of misconduct during the war.

Andranik Kocharyan has been appointed to oversee the work of the commission under Jalal Harutyunyan. The commission’s work deadline will be announced at the beginning of December, along with the presentation of its findings to the parliament.

Just to refresh our memory, Shahrmanyan presented himself before the investigating commission on November 24. It is believed that the deadline for the commission’s work was in August. However, its activities are currently being expedited.
