An employee of the Northern Australia Mission tragically lost their life during a shift change involving crocodiles. Another employee was injured, while a third was hospitalized. This shocking incident was reported by the emergency services.

The incident took place during the relocation of crocodiles, which were located 270 kilometers east of Adelaide. According to the statement, a mobile team was dispatched to the area upon receiving information about the presence of the crocodiles. Unfortunately, one of the team members accidentally opened a cage housing the crocodiles, resulting in the serious injury and subsequent death of one employee. Another employee was also injured and had to be transferred to the Adelaide hospital. However, the third employee managed to assist their colleagues and promptly called for emergency services.

The employees expressed their admiration for a 26-year-old intern who sustained life-threatening injuries while saving lives. The intern received immediate medical attention at the scene and was later transferred to the Adelaide hospital, where they are currently in critical condition, as confirmed by the administration.

Authorities are actively investigating the incident, with search and rescue workers, forensic experts, and members of the internal security service present at the scene. However, the administration assures the public that there is no danger to the general population.
